First Mortgages for Purchase & Refinance

We can help you buy or refinance your home! We work closely with first-time home buyers to help them get mortgage-ready, and also work with members who are moving into a bigger house. We specialize in the City of Rochester but work with borrowers across the Rochester metropolitan area and central and western New York!

We specifically work to assist our lower-income members or those building their credit history to qualify for a mortgage. We can help with one-on-one budgeting sessions, credit counseling, accessing grants, and other resouces to help prepare you to buy a home. 

Genesee Co-op partners with two credit union owned organizations, OwnersChoice, and Credit Union Mortgage Association (CUMA), to offer a full range of mortgages to our members on 1-4 family properties and second homes.
